Wow — what a magical weekend!
Huge thanks to all the surfers, open water swimmers, volunteers, performers, and cheer squads who came out for the Women on Waves Contest 2025. Mother Nature really showed up for us — she gave us perfect weather and beautiful waves. It couldn’t have been a better weekend to celebrate community, connection, and the ocean we love. #oceanfriendly
Because of your energy and support, we were able to raise funds (more details coming soon) for Black Surf Santa Cruz, helping make the ocean a more inclusive and welcoming space for everyone. It’s a work in progress, and we know there’s still a long way to go — but every ripple counts.
WOW 2025!! The stoke was real. And we have photos to prove it! (Stay tunded!)
