Women On Waves Surf Fest is well known throughout Santa Cruz County as a great local fundraising event that promotes women's participation, of all ages, in the sport of surfing. It is an amateur event that showcases the talent and athleticism of local women. Women on Waves participants come from all walks of life and all ages. Their enthusiasm for the sport of surfing is truly uplifting and a testament to the strength of our community. REGISTER

Since wow began in 1996, this event has raised over $48,000 for the Santa Cruz Community. Profits form WOW 2015 will benefit WomenCARE, and Monarch Services

 

WomenCARE provides cancer advocacy, resources, education, and support to women, their families and friends, and healthcare practitioners at each stage of the journey.

 

Monarch Services

Through crisis counseling, safe shelter, legal assistance and advocacy, we help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to become survivors and repair their lives.
